Situated among the clouds

A desperate escape

From oppressive vibes

Towering sky high

Harsh lights illuminate

Individualism down below

And across the street

Unpleasant contrast

Too severe to be pretty

I’ll leave a light on for you

A source of comfort and warmth

In an increasingly

Cold and merciless world
